I have been married for ten years to the same amazing man I’ve been desperately in love with since I was fifteen years old. We have two beautiful kids: a little boy who is almost 8 and a 3 year old little girl. I am an Escrow Officer for Premium Title and Escrow, and also own my own Interior Design company. I’m not happy about the fact that we are celebrating our ten year high school reunion, because deep down I’m still only eighteen.

"Sup y'all. After H.S. I headed out for Army basic training. After spending some time stationed in Colorado and California with the Army, I decided to move to Portland, OR in 2005. Shortly after that I met Kimmi, my wife and my best friend. We have been married for 3 years. Then this is the part where I gloat about my awesome job, and how I've done so much cooler stuff than everyone else since high school... Right? Isn't that how it works? No? Okay, then. Well, this just got really awkward...."

Jake and Marissa (McCullough) Maxfield
Jake and I started dating around Thanksgiving of our Senior year, and I never imagined that first date would lead to a fabulous marriage with two gorgeous kids and a life we love! I went to Utah State University and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Music Education and then taught choir for two years at South
Jordan Middle School. Jake is finishing a degree in Business Logistics Management and works as Director of Transportation for Broken Arrow Construction. We have a daughter, Sydney, who is 4, and just had a son, Beckett, who is 2 months. (We don't have a picture of the 4 of us yet!) We love to travel and have lived all over Utah and spent our summers working at Lake Squam in New Hampshire, but we are currently settled in South Jordan. We can't seem to stay put long, so we drag our little ones on trips and hiking adventures as often as possible! Can't wait to see everybody!

Laura Lopshire (Zolman)
After Highschool I attended Ricks College/BYU-Idaho for 2 years, then moved to Provo and did a year at BYU before serving an LDS Mission in Osorno, Chile. After my mission I finished up at BYU and got a degree in History. The month after graduating I married Ben Lopshire (October 2006). Within a month I was expecting and Asher William was born in July 2007. While being pregnant I taught Spanish (no, not History) to 9th grade students at a Charter school in West Jordan. I decided to stay home with Asher and teach private Spanish lessons until we decided to have another baby. Keara Lynn was born in Aug 2009 and I love being at home with my kiddos. My husband is a Web Developer and is so good to me. He is a great dad too :) Currently we live in Midvale, UT.

I was not sure if I was going to be able to make it to the reunion this year.. However, Briana quickly reminded me of our fascination with Romi and Michele’s High School Reunion and I just had to find a way to do it.. With that said, I will have to break it to you that I did not invent the post-it... But I did do a few other things in the last ten years (wow, I swear it was just yesterday).
After graduation I went to the University of Utah where I dabbled in many different scholastic venues. I eventually found my calling in education and child development. There is NOTHING more encouraging and beautiful than the laughter and love of children. I currently teach 1st grade at an AMAZING school and seriously LOVE every minute of it... Minus the paycheck. (sigh)... Although, the saying runs true, it doesn’t matter what you make as long as you love what you do...
I spent a summer in Lima, Peru volunteering in one of the largest orphanages and learning from their perseverance and unconditional love.
My love life consisted of many, many, many toads! Nonetheless, I finally found my prince charming, Jordan. It is great to finally be in a mature, loving, fulfilling relationship. We have a two beautiful ‘children’ (amongst the 30 I have daily): Dog Ruby and Cat Lily.
Life has given me many blessing and I am so happy to hear about all of yours this August! See you soon!

Phillip and I have been married for 8 years and have two of the best children in the world! Phillip works hard everyday for us and I get to stay home with our kids. Jack is 6 yrs old and Maggie will be 4 next month. We are currently living in Lehi, Ut and enjoy every day we have together. Some of our favorite things to do together are: traveling, swimming, hiking, biking, playing sports and going to the dinosaur museum. This probably could get more boring but I'll just stop now and save you all the pain.

Hey Everybody!
I have been married to Morgan (my dream girl) for 3 years and have a son named Jake who is now 3 months old. Morgan was a 3rd grade teacher and now a full-time mom. I worked a few years in project management for a software firm and decided to do law school down here at Arizona State University so I could sue the crap out of people (j/k). I have a little over a year left and I'm working for a firm in Mesa. Looking forward to reading about everyone else!

In Memory Of Ronnie Lynn Thompson
Ronnie is in your Class of 2000 yearbook in the Army J.R.O.T.C. Section. Ronnie lost his life on August 22, 1998. Just before the start of his jr. year at Taylorsville. I know he would have wanted to attend the Class of 2000 Ten-Year Reunion and see old friends. I'm sure he will be there in spirit. As his Mom, I have started a cause in his memory and to make others aware of the danger on our highways. My cause is called NODD~ No Drowsy Driving ~ You can find it on facebook. I attend the Zero Fatalities Safety Summit's every year and try to learn all I can. I was able to get Drowsy Driving information in the Utah drivers handbook. I have a youtube channel. (drowsydriving001) with a video in Ronnie's Memory and I recorded a PSA 2 years ago that was on all the Utah radio stations, for the Utah Dept of Public Safety, which I talked about
Ronnie's death & Drowsy Driving. (You can hear it at the beginning of the youtube video.)
Ronnie was in his jr. yearbook and also in the Class of 2000 yearbook as well.
All of the Student body officers for Taylorsville High attended his funeral, and the Army J.R.O.T.C. gave Ronnie a full Military funeral, his Army J.R.O.T.C. Cadets were his pall bearers and they gave him a 21 gun salute and one of them played Taps.
Sara (Coombs) Peterson
After graduation I attended a few different colleges including USU, SLCC and finally graduating from the University of Utah in Elementary Education. I have been happily married to my husband Matthew Peterson (class of 98) for almost 8 years. We are enjoying life in Salt Lake City where I am lucky to be able to stay at home most of the time with Lucas our energetic 4-year-old son. I sneak away twice a week to teach reading in a title 1 school in the Murray School District. We are also terrified and excited to be pregnant with twins who are due to arrive early January!
Shanna (Wilde) Jensen
Can't believe it's been 10 years!! Are we really THAT OLD?! I met my husband, Tyler, just after graduating and we dated for 2 years while attending SLCC majoring in Graphic Design. We've been married 7 1/2 years now and are very happy! I'm a spoiled stay at home mom. We have 3 kids: my girl Briene (4), my boy Isaac (3), and we have a baby girl in heaven, Anna Belle, who passed away Dec 2009 due to fetal hydrops. I miss her everyday, but it's slowly getting easier. We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats (yeah, I'm a sucker for anything furry), so it's a full house! Conveniently, I also love to vacuum! Haha! We're currently living in West Jordan and love it!! Life's good!

Trisha Eve (Cook) Wilson.
I live in Wilmington, North Carolina with my husband Aaron Wilson; and am loving the beach ... but not the humidity (bleh). It is very beautiful in the spring and fall, when the temperatures even out, and the plants are in bloom. I am a mother of two beautiful children; a boy (Xander, 3) and a girl (Fiona 1). I work with the young women in church and those girls defiantly keep me busy. I also work as a massage therapist, I am self-employed and love the opportunity to stay home with my kids but also do something that I find enjoyment in.
